The Wild Horse team are really excited to come together for a 2^nd year to celebrate International Women’s Day in a way that’s both meaningful and fun. 
We all loved working together last year to create and produce our 1^st IWCBD beer Rhiannon, so we are marking the event this year with another fantastic beer – Making Waves.

Our 2025 International Women’s Day beer - Making Waves symbolises the growth, creativity and strength that women bring to the brewing industry and society.

Siwan and Alex from the production team crafted the recipe with some of our favourite hops, Citra, Mosaic, El Dorado and Idaho 7 to produce a 5.0% Hazy Pale Ale with a tropical, citrus and stone fruit flavour profile and a subtle fruity berry note.
All the women from the wider Wild Horse team then came together on the brew day to bring Making Waves to life, creating an empowering experience for all involved.

We collaboratively worked together with a local Welsh artist Sian Angharad to create a label that depicts our vision.  Every can of beer reflects our shared goal of uplifting women and supporting the causes that matter most.

This International Women’s Day, lets raise a glass to the women who inspire us, support us and shape the world around us.  We hope you’ll join us in celebrating with a beer that’s not only brewed with purpose but produced to help make a difference.

We are donating 20p from each can sale of Making Waves to Women On Tap CIC, a certified social enterprise and not for profit.
