NOBLE INTENTIONS NEU WORLD ALTBIER


GEIPEL BREWING

A collaboration with our friend Geipel Brewing, this Düsseldorf style altbier was brewed with noble intentions to a historical recipe. In keeping with Geipel’s traditional approach we used German Pilsner and Carafa Special II malt, Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops and a German ale yeast strain. But we couldn’t’ resist putting a Wild Horse slant on things with small additions of Amarillo post-boil and as a dry-hop.

A collaboration, in the form of a recipe swap, with Iechyd Da! Brewing Company from Indiana, USA. A sweet milk stout brewed with nine different malts and fermented on vanilla pods and cocoa nibs, supplied by Baravelli’s Artisan Chocolatier of Conwy.
